Yoga Classes with Eva McCauley start Jan. 3 at the Oakdene Centre

Vinyasa Flow Yoga Classes taught by Eva McCauley.All levels are welcome and accommodated! Classes take place in the gym at the Oakdene Centre, 1913 Clementsvale Road, Bear River.

Yoga classes will resume on Monday, January 3, and will continue for the entire month of January.**Note the new class times on Monday evening!

FOUR WEEK Winter Yoga session:

Monday evenings: 
6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. –  Gentle Flow Yoga

7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.  – Intermediate/Advanced Vinyasa Flow Yoga 

Wednesday mornings: 
9 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. –  Intermediate/Advanced Vinyasa Flow Yoga
10:30 – 11:30 a.m. –  Gentle Flow Yoga 
Drop in fee: $15.00 per class
Students: $10.00

Gentle Vinyasa Yoga Flow:
New to yoga? If you want a gentle way to learn more about yoga, this class is for you!  In a safe and relaxing atmosphere, students will learn the benefits of yoga, incorporating basic yoga asanas (postures), with lots of stretching, twists, strengthening poses and proper yogic breathing. Relaxation and meditation techniques are offered to calm the mind and ground you.  Poses are linked with breath, making this a  mindful moving meditation. An excellent introduction for new students and also good for the intermediate/experienced student looking to fine-tune their practice. (Beginner level, but more advanced options suggested for more experienced yogis to take it to the next level)  

Intermediate/Advanced Vinyasa Yoga Flow: 
A  Vinyasa-style yoga flow class to challenge and energize you. Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a vigorous and mindful flow. In this Vinyasa flow  class, students will be building strength, flexibility, balance and concentration while cleansing the body and calming the mind. You can expect a great cardiovascular and strength building workout combined with breath work. Class will also offer a meditation and breathing techniques to focus the mind.  (Intermediate/advanced)

COVID protocols will be in place, with masks worn upon entering the Oakdene and the gym, and masks taken off when you are on your mat. Mats are spaced 6 ft. apart (with tape on the floor as guidelines). Proof of double vaccination required.
