Digby and area has been experiencing a shortage of safe affordable housing. To try to address this situation and to lessen the negative impact this shortage can have on the economic and social growth of our area, the Digby & Area Housing Coalition was formed in the summer of 2021. Since its formation they have been actively working on various projects in the area that not only have the potential to increase available housing units but to do so in innovative ways.

If you would like to learn more about what this group has been doing and/or would like an opportunity to contribute to potential solutions, we invite you to join us on for an information and facilitated ideation session on November 25, 2021, at 6:00pm – 8:00pm at the Digby Curling Club.
