Beginners Enamelled Jewellery Instructor: Larry Knox
Location: Artworks Gallery at The Oakdene Centre, Bear River. 2 classes – Saturday March 28th or Sunday March 29th, 2020. 1 day each – 11am to 4pm. Max: 4 students per class. Choose which day might suit you! You will be learning about the materials and techniques to make 2 beautiful enamelled copper pendants to take home with you! The cost includes all findings and materials.

Beginners Mosaics Instructor: Karen Aaker Location: Flying Shards Studio, Studio #10, Upstairs at The Oakdene Centre, Bear River. You will learn the techniques and basics of creating a mosaic using the Direct Method. We will study the choice of colour, tesserae, the Andamento and Opus placement of tile. All tools and materials are included and you will leave with your own beautiful piece of mosaic art! 4 days over 2 weekends: Max: 10 students. Saturday March 21st & Sunday March 22nd – 11am to 3pm Saturday March 28th – 12 to 3pm Sunday March 29th – 12 to 2pm *Please Note: during the week between classes you will work on your piece at home.
Cost: $145.00.
A non-refundable deposit of $25.00 to hold your seat is required by March 2, the balance due at start of the first class. **There will also be a $20 cash tool-return deposit at the first class, which will be returned once all tools are handed in at the end of the Workshop.
