Grade 12 Equivalency
GED preparation

WHO:

• residents of NS who are at least 19 years of age
• have not received a grade 12 certificate from any institution and have been out of public school system for at least 1 year

WHAT

• Classes to prepare for the 5 tests that when passed grants a grade 12 equivalency
• Tests are in Mathematics, English, Language arts in reading and writing, Science and Social Studies

WHERE

• Bear River and Area Community Health Centre

WHEN

• Tuesday nights 7:00 – 9:00, starting April 30 (night of week could change depending on wishes of the group)

COST

• NS residents can now write the tests for free
• Cost of book is approx. $30
• Students who register with DALA will be given a book
