Bear River Winter Carnival Schedule 2018
11^th Annual
February  9th – 11th

FRIDAY  9^th

Anytime till 3 pm Saturday. Build a snow sculpture and enter the prize contest.   Anyone can enter and build along the Bear River waterfront. If you live in the area, you can build at your home. Enter on wall map at Bear River Grocery Store, Main St. Bear River.  All welcome to enter!

Art Exhibition:  “Revolution and Resistance”   @ Sissaboo Coffee Bar and Gallery

6:00 pm :  “Self Revelations”  Artworks Gallery, Oakdene Center, 1913 Clementsvale Rd.  Prizes awarded.  Contact:  Ken Flett  kenflett@gmail.com

SATURDAY 10^th

Anytime till 3 pm Build a snow sculpture and enter the big prize contest  All along the waterfront or at your home. Free.  To enter big contest sign up  on the map @ Bear River Grocery Store downtown Bear River.  Open to all!

10:00 am – 12:00 pm Warming Station  Upstairs @ Bear River Legion.  Free hot chocolate and doughnuts.  Sponsored by The Mason’s,  Keith Lodge #16.  All Welcome!

1:00  Free Snow Shoeing  @ Cornwallis Park 1km.  Snowshoes provided.  Parking @ the top of Broadway Ave.

1:00 pm – 3:00 pm  Maple Syrup Snow Sucker Stand  Free.  Along the Bear River waterfront.  Contact Peter and Ann Burrell 902-247-2297.

3:00 – 3:30 Ice Candle Contest  Free to enter.  Behind Bear River Legion.  Children and Adult categories.  Prize presentation 4:00.  All entries welcome.  Contact Brandy Parker

2:00  –  4:00 pm  Warming Station  Upstairs @ Bear River Legion.  Free hot chocolate and doughnuts.  Sponsored by The Masonic Keith Lodge #16.  All Welcome.

5:00 – 6:00 pm  Valentine’s  Supper  Ham and beans with scalloped potatoes, tea or coffee.   Apple crisp with ice cream. Upstairs at the Bear River Fire Hall.  $12.00 per person, under 5 free.  Contact Teresa Dawson 467-4140, teresa.dawson@sky.com

8:00 pm – 12:00am  Caleb Miles Band  19yrs and older.  $10.00 at the door, 1913 Clementsvale Rd.
