Held in Bear River from August 20th – 23rd, 2014
History: The first Digby County Exhibition was held in 1879, and, with the exception of a year or two, has run continuously since. It is coordinated by the Bear River Agricultural Society, formerly the Hillsburg Agricultural Society, and has been held in 2 or 3 different locations in the area. In 1970, the name was officially changed to the Digby County Exhibition, and the Digby County Exhibition Society was established under the Societies Act. The Bear River Agricultural Society owns the exhibition buildings, and rents them to the Exhibition Society for $1. per year. The Exhibition Society carries out all the maintenance and repairs on the buildings, and coordinates the show each year.
