Saturday November 27 – 9 am – 5 pm 2nd annual Holiday Spirit Craft Show at the Rebekah Music Hall. Fine food, gifts, pottery, paintings, jewelry and much more by Southwest Nova artists. Live Music, $2 admission, silent auction, hot lunch concession.
Saturday November 27 – 5 pm The Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Bear River Fire Dept. will host a Pre-Christmas turkey supper with Plum Puddings and Hard sauce. The hall will be decorated and the firefighters will be serving. This is a major fund-raiser for the Ladies’ Auxiliary and we hope to see everyone there. Money raised is used to maintain the chair lift and the fire hall.
Tuesdays 7 – 8:30 pm “Chance to Dance” is a fun mixture of different dance genre’s including jazz, yoga, and ballet. Everyone should bring their own mat and a bottle of water. For more info contact Jane @ 467-0989

Upcoming Drum Workshop Series
all classes held at Drumspirit (Oakdene school in Bear River) from 6:30 to 8 pm on monday evenings and taught by kadijah.
November 1st 2010 Drum/Prayer Circle ( all saints day). A workshop using drumming as a tool for prayerand intent.
November 15th 2010 Traditional West African Rhythm taught by Kadijah on Djembe and Dunun.
Each workshop: $25.00 with drum rental : $20.00 bringing your own drum

Winter Plans:
Kadijah is planning on starting a creativity drop in/sharing one day a week throughout the winter.
Kadijah will be inviting guest speakers and artists to conduct workshops and discussions using the Drumspirit space.
Kadijah invites local artists and musicians who would like to use the space at Drumspirit for workshops and small performances to please contact her.
A small fee will be requested for use of the space (to help cover the rent)
For all these events Kadijah will assist in the promotion of your event.
