In partnership with Rural Communities Foundation of NS

Bear River volunteers are working on creating a community Food Forest and we want you to be involved!
On September 19th from 1-3pm join us to learn about how to plan and create a food forest, and participate in a discussion of how to shape a food forest here in Bear River.
Mandy Sandbach of SOULfully SOIL is a permaculture practitioner and longtime community organizer who coordinates the Scotsburn Community Food Forest. Stop in to the Bear River Greenhouse to learn about how it’s done, chat about how we can build it and the benefits for the community.
