SATURDAY, APRIL 9th, 10-4 – ROUND REED BASKET- beginner or intermediate skill level

For some a review, and for others a new skill:  Round reed basket techniques.  Make a natural or colourful round reed basket, in either large or small sized reed.  Wild materials will be on hand to incorporate.  We will try out two or three different basket weaves, time permitting.  All materials included..  $60.00

SATURDAY, APRIL 23rd, 9-5  –  WILLOW BASKET WORKSHOP – intermediate skill level

I’m very excited to have enough willow supplies to be able to offer this workshop.  If you have had at least one workshop, and want to “branch” out into using natural materials, this is the workshop for you.  We will make a basket in two parts..attaching the side spokes to our premade base, and weaving up the sides.

If you have an awl, an iron weight, or a rapping tool (heavy tool for tapping down rows of weaving) they are useful items to bring along..but I will have mine to share.  All materials included…$80.00

Light snacks and tea will be available, please bring a full lunch if you prefer.  Classes are limited to 5 participants. email cronehenge@gmail.com to hold your place.
