We’re springing forward into March with a pep in our step as restrictions begin to lift.
Good news! When Dee Monroe’s yoga classes start on March 7th, it will no longer be necessary to show proof of vaccination (as of February 28).
(It’s still necessary to wear a mask into the Oakdene centre and into the gym…you can take off your mask when you are on your mat.)

Dee Monroe is an experienced yoga teacher and completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2010. She studied with Karuna Erickson and Alli Bogard in Nelson B.C.
Her style is quite slow with an emphasis on breath and connecting with self-mind, body and spirit.
Coming to yoga rather late in life (she was in her 50s) her mantra has been “If you have breath in your body you can do yoga”.
*COVID protocols will be in place, with masks worn upon entering the Oakdene and the gym, and masks taken off when you are on your mat. Mats are spaced 6 ft. apart (with tape on the floor as guidelines).
