Position:   Travel Councellor for the Bear River VIC (Visitor Information Centre)
Dates: July 06 2020 – August 28 2020
280 hr@ 12.55/hr

Requirements:

• Excellent computer and communication skills
• An excellent working knowledge of the businesses, history and places of interest in the community of Bear River and surrounding areas
• Pleasant personality
• Familiar with the current NS Health Covid-19 Protocols
• Age 15 – 30 years of age
• Canadian citizen with a valid SIN prior to start of employment.

The successful applicant will be expected to help with updating of VIC sites and collecting data. Assisting the manager when directed. Training in World Host, Service First or Tourism Visitor Information Councellor is an asset. These courses will be provided by BREDS as well as WHIMIS and CPR.
