Wednesday Mar 18, 2020

  • The Bear River United Baptist Church has cancelled church services and meetings for the next two weeks. A reassessment will be made at the end of this time.
  • All services, meetings and programs of the Advent Christian church have been cancelled until further notice due to COVID-19.
  • Tall Sips Pub closed until further notice
  • Sissiboo Coffee Bear River, open for takeout only

  • BEAR RIVER FIRST NATION Band Hall and Health Center is Closed to Public until further notice. Exceptions are emergency or essential purposes.
    Staff will still be working so please call the office.

    ALL MARCH BREAK ACTIVITIES AT BRFN HEALTH CENTRE ARE CANCELLED.
  • All Annapolis Valley Regional Libraries are closed to the public as of March 16.
    This includes the Bookmobile in Bear River and surrounds.
    The plan is to reopen April 6.
    Our online services are still available. No fines will be incurred during this period.
  • As of March 16, 2020, all Western Counties Regional Library branches and Books by Mail services are closed to the public for 3 weeks. This includes the Digby Library.
    Patrons will not be charged late fees for materials on loan during this period and we encourage everyone to keep their borrowed materials until libraries re-open.
    Our digital library is accessible all the time to download eBooks, audiobooks, digital magazines. You can also learn a new language.
