Much Ado About Nothing, To Act or Not to Act, How to Act?
Are we on fire about climate change? Are our lifestyles indicative of us being in denial? Should we have our last dance in the tops of trees? Join us for a four session open discussion of these topics,
This Saturday afternoon conversation and READING GROUP will be held at
Sissiboo Coffee Bar and Gallery, Bear River, commencing SATURDAY Jan 11 at 1:00 PM and continue Saturday Jan 25th and several other Saturdays, as needed.

Key texts for this series are Naomi Klein’s ON FIRE, The Burning Case for a Green New Deal and Richard Powers’ The OVERSTORY.
Both texts are, in the words of the reviewers, exhilarating and extraordinary. There is never a dull moment when reading The OVERSTORY and its convergence with ON FIRE makes the adrenalin flow.
We have a few reading copies of each book that we will share. Both books can be bought online or borrowed at the public library. Our reading copies may be signed out at Sissiboo. PDF excerpts will be made available to participants.
