The Wilsons, Gary and Gwen Wilson, are a Sandy Cove, Digby Neck based duo. They have played in a variety of venues, over the years, including Bearly’s, in Halifax. Local venues include Lavena’s Catch Cafe, Freeport, Rebekah Hall and Sissiboo Coffee, Bear River, Around the Bend, Meteghan Centre, Breaking Waves Festival and Digby’s Sydney Street Pub.

They play an eclectic mix of music by artists such as Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Gillian Welch, Lucinda Williams, John Prine, to name a few. Playing guitars, accordion as well as stand up bass on some numbers, they offer a unique blend of vocal and instrumental harmony.
