Time for another weird and wonderful night of original music at the Oakdene Centre, 1913 Clementsvale Road, Bear River.
In this instalment, the nomadic Dana Sipos will ramble her way into our village brining with her sings and songs to delight and mesmerize. Hailing from everywhere and nowhere her music captures the roll of the tide, the glow of the aurora and the ghost in the house. Like bird song in a dream you’ve just woken from. You can check out her audio/video at www.danasipos.com
Opening for Dana is your very own dee armandine. Performing most often for the birds, her version of a little bit country is barely bouncing along down dirt roads. Tin cans dragging behind, a melody that follows and lingers.
The doors open at 7:30 in the awe-inspiring Rivernest Studio at oakdene centre on monday june 25. 10 dollars or donations for travelling musicians.
Weekdays are hard, but this show’s good vibes will blast you off into a super week of inspired imagination.
Dont miss the magic. Invite your friends to join you in it.
