The Municipality of the District of Digby is seeking community input about the future use options for the former Barton Elementary School.

On Tuesday May 22 from 3 pm – 7 pm there will be an Open House at the property for the community to express their thoughts and wishes regarding options of reuse of the building and grounds.

Municipal councillors and staff will be on hand to answer questions and to listen to any public suggestions. People will be able to
walk and view the premises and tour the interior to see for themselves the interior layout. The open house is the first step towards consultation with the community to assure the facility remains a positive asset for the area.
