This collection of posters, postcards, and original etchings give us glimpses of the human struggle for survival. The fight for basic human needs; food, shelter, rights and freedoms.
They document how a monumental political eruption can occur, when ordinary people are driven to revolt against the conditions in their country.
Those political divisions remain worldwide today, as does the human struggle against inequality.
We hope you are inspired by this exhibition.
Artworks are from the private collections of writer Susan Friend and painter Flora Doehler, residents of Bear River.
*Many of these works will also be on display at Sissiboo Coffee Bar and Gallery, Annapolis Royal from March 1 – April 15, 2018.
