Connect with yourself more deeply through the process of painting in acrylics & collage with lovely coloured papers, different textures to inspire a rich tapestry. We start with a meditation to move us into that side of the brain that allows us to relax, moving into our hearts more for expansion of self, to allow us to relax into play, into the joy of making marks & colour.
I have a plethora of images to work with, animals that inspire us, symbols to use. Bring copies of photos of yourself, of your loved ones to work from. We are going to connect with our heritage, with our Ancestors, our ken. We will make profound & beautiful pieces that will touch our heartstrings, beckon us forth to explore further. We will have fun, we allow ourselves to make a mess, move beyond our fears, our limitations with my guiding hands.

Some art supplies will be provided. An art supply list will be shared once registered for the workshop.

Justine Kerr, BFA(Hons) has a rich art practice in acrylic paint & collage over 20 years in the making with teaching art to children & adults all around Nova Scotia for many years.
