February 13,14, 15th

FRIDAY February 13, 2015

Anytime till 3 pm Saturday.  Build a snow sculpture and enter the big prize contest. Anyone can enter and build along the Bear River waterfront. If you live in the area, you can build at your home. 4:00 pm till end of winter Rink Opens. Free skating behind Bear River Legion.

5:00 pm until the end of the Carnival (evening of the 15th.)  Crazy Carpet Castle Opens. Free sledding on crazy carpets or snowsuits only. Crazy carpets provided.  Behind Bear River Legion. Contact Bonnie MacLeod Bonnie.mac@eastlink.ca 467-0390

5:00 – 5:30 pm  Lighting of the Ice Candles and Ice Candle Contest. Free.  Behind the Bear River Legion. All entries welcome. Enter to win and help by putting your ice candles around the rink or town. Prize presentation @ 5:30 pm.  Contact: Sue Comeau 467-3258 allwaysgardening@ns.sympatico.ca

7:00 -9:00 pm  Myrtle & Rosie’s Dinner and Live Music. Reservations: 467-0176. Downtown

8:00 pm  Evening Concert at the Rebekah.  Featuring : “David Chamberland”. A licenced event, cash bar. Cover charge $5.00

SATURDAY February 14, 2015

All Day till 5pm  Free ice cream coupon @ Myrtle & Rosie’s, for all children who participate in winter carnival activities.

11:30 –  Free hot dog barbeque!  For all who participate in winter carnival activities. Supplied by The Real Atlantic Super Store.

12:00 – 3:30 pm  Club 400 Winter Active Team: Free. Along the Bear River Waterfront. Free. Kick sledding, Nordic walking, and snowshoeing. Contact: Brian Orde borde@annapoliscounty.ca In case of rain there will be indoor WII and Xbox activities.  Place to be held will be posted next up date.

1:00 pm – Mixed Scotch Doubles: @ Bear River Legion.
