Dear Bear River (and area) folks,
I would like to invite you to a lecture on Monday, May 12th.
Elke Krasny is a curator, cultural theorist, urban researcher and writer. Based in Vienna, where she is a Senior Lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts, Dr Krasny has held numerous professorships throughout Europe. I think that we are very lucky to have her lecturing.
Dr Krasny will be giving a presentation on “The RIght to Green: Hands-on Urbanism 1850-2012.” This is the title of an exhibition that she curated for Architecture Centre Vienna (Architekturzentrum Wien) which has since travelled to many institutions throughout Europe.
I hope that you come join. Please bring a food to share that includes as many regional ingredients as possible! I hope that we can make time for a discussion of possibilities for food security in Bear River and area.
