The Bear River Historical Society and the Municipality of Digby are sponsoring a Loyalist Tea on Sept. 13, 1 to 3 pm, at the vestry of the United Church on Clementsvale Road, just a few buildings up the hill from the Legion. Included in the afternoon’s itinerary are excerpts from the Bear River Story and the recently performed Loyalist Story.  Admission 5.00.    

A display of “teacups with a story” will be held at the Bear River Historical Museum (on River Road beside the post office) in conjunction with the tea.
