I photograph what I like, what I find interesting.
If that be landscapes…seascapes…night…whatever it may be..I try to bring what I see to print. Having said that, I must admit, that my real passion is to photograph you.
Portraiture is my photographic desire.
Now, with this series, I simply took a wine glass from the top shelf of the kitchen cabinet, set it on a gray piece of paper on my stove, placed another gray piece behind it…..turn on the light above the stove and made a photograph.
From there, decorative dishes, empty bottles…perhaps a simple drinking glass, until I had created a collection which I thought may be of interest to someone other than myself.
Most of you who may know my work, will see this of somewhat of a departure from my normal style and subject matter.
There are no hidden messages…no comparisons of anything in these from me, but I will invite you to perhaps see something more than an empty bottle or glass.
If nothing else, I hope you find “Unbroken Glass”………interesting
Thank you for dropping by the Oakdene Centre, Bear River.
I will be there Sat and Sun, Nov 8 & 9 from 1-4 pm.
My best to you,
Gary
