Steph Clifford

Steph Clifford is a BC‐based folk singer‐songwriter whose music is rooted in sincerity, storytelling, and timeless melody. Known for her introspective lyrics and warm, open‐skied sound, Steph’s songs feel like familiar companions, offering quiet revelations and truths that linger long after the last note fades. She weaves raw, visual and heartfelt lyrics into guitar driven compositions in an unexpected blend of genres. At home on hall stages, in wine bar corners, or in the spotlight with a full band, her soft style brings the room in to a collective cozy vibe. Steph’s first three releases (November 2024), Cruel, Better All the Time, and Dirt, were recorded in CBC’s Studio 2 for the Peer Pressure Song Club’s compilation album, Yes, ” offering a glimpse of her signature sound: Soft yet powerful, deeply personal and universally felt” (Darryl Sterdan, Tinnitist). Cocoon, Steph’s debut EP, was released September 1st, 2025.

Katie Marti

“When Katie Marti makes music, every ear in the room perks up. Her songs are stripped down and every word, every lyric, is essential. You feel what she feels, you see what she sees. She takes you on a journey and you re-emerge all the better for it.” (Nicole Gagnon, Sofar Sounds) Equal parts musician, poet, and storyteller, Katie prioritizes lyrics and has a real knack for tucking a universal truth or a familiar narrative into a simple melody that sticks. Her shows blend humour with humility as she engages with her audience through the shared experience of living. Katie’s latest release, Coquihalla, is the first single from YES, a collaborative project with Peer Pressure Song Club (Vancouver, BC). She is in the process of completing her MFA in Creative Writing at UBC (Lyric/Songwriting) from her home on the Bay of Fundy, where she teaches, hosts workshops, and generally mucks about.
