Slow down and savor the simple joys of summer at Rove Acres.
Our Picnic & Play Fridays offer a relaxed, family-friendly gathering designed for young children and their grown-ups to connect, create, and explore nature together.

Bring a blanket and a picnic or snacks, settle into the grass, and enjoy:

Nature-inspired crafts in our weekly craft tent
Relaxed lawn games for all ages
Scenic trails and meadows to wander
A picnic-themed photo opportunity

This is a drop-in event — come and go anytime during the hours.
All types of families are warmly welcome, including chosen families, blended families, solo caregivers, grandparents, and everyone in between.
Pets are welcome too; please supervise and clean up after them.

Suggested donation: $5–$15 per group
Each week features a new nature-inspired activity designed to spark creativity and play.
