Ted Leighton’s new novel, Knowers and Lovers, from the Rick Robichaud series, launches at the Bear River Winter Craft Fair. Meet Ted upstairs at the Oakdene Centre, from 10am-3pm on Saturday, November 23rd, during the Winter Craft Show.
Rick Robichaud, his wife Zora Cromwell, and their one year old daughter Bronwyn are the central characters in this new novel.
The story begins in the abandoned community of White’s Cove near Little River on Digby Neck. It unfolds in the forests, fields and sea coasts of Digby County, Nova Scotia. It also takes place in board rooms in Russia and situation rooms in NATO. Additionally, it involves piracy on the high seas.
New construction is taking place on the site of a stone quarry that was proposed 20 years ago but was never built. What now? And Hollywood has descended on the village of Bear River to shoot a film based on a novel which the prize-winning author, Louis Penny, wrote about the village. But who actually is Louis Penny?
