Meet you on the waterfront on Saturday July 27 for the 131st year of the Cherry Carnival in Bear River, NS. in support of the volunteer Bear River Fire Department. Please come out and support this event and show your appreciation to the volunteers who serve our community.

There’s a full day of events planned to keep all ages entertained beginning with a yummy pancake breakfast at 7am followed by the Children’s Parade at 9; and then Grand Street Parade.

The water sports and greased pole are a highlight during the afternoon and the fireworks display at dusk is not to be missed. The Bear River Fire Department never disappoints and it’s always a spectacular show in the village.
