Digby Art Bank Acquisition  for the Municipality of the District of Digby

Municipal Council believes it is important to support our creative community and purchase local art work with the intention to display this work at public spaces within the Municipality.

The Art Bank will also highlight local artists and artisans, and promote the value of their work to our community

Purchases will be conducted annually. The total annual budget is $2500. Each piece will be purchased at current market value.
 
The call for submissions has now commenced. Deadline for submissions is January 17, 2024. Submissions will be reviewed by a jury committee. For more information please contact Robert Hersey at   heritage@digbymun.ca
