Moonfruits, a bilingual contemporary folk duo from Ottawa, is on an East Coast tour and will be performing at Bear River’s Sissiboo Cafe on June 22nd @ 7:30 pm. Doors open at 7 pm. Tickets are available at both Sissiboo locations, $12 ea or $20 for 2.

Moonfruits—Ottawa-based partners Alex Millaire and Kaitlin Milroy—craft contemporary folk in French and English that addresses our collective humanity with heart, wit, and wonder. Their sophomore album, Salt (Oct. 2022), explores raising a child amidst deepening inequality and the climate crisis, telling stories of their families and the kinds of communities they hope to help build.
