Spring is in the air, so why not embark on an Early Spring Yoga session, starting Monday March 15th, and get ready for the warm weather that is coming soon!
Vinyasa Flow Yoga Classes–Six Week Session – Gentle Vinyasa Flow Starting Monday March 15 until April 19th Monday Evenings: 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday Mornings 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Starting Wed. March 17 until April 21st
Intermediate/Advanced Vinyasa FlowMonday Evenings: 8:00 to 9 p.m.Wednesday Mornings: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
6 Week Session–$75.00 for 6 classes, $115.00 for 12 classes (2 classes a week)DROP IN rate $15.00 per class
STUDENT SPECIAL– $10.00 per class or $50.00 for 6 classes.
NEW! There will also be a 4 week Yin Yoga session on Monday afternoons from 3 until 4:30 pm (90 minute classes, with music) starting March 29th. $15 Drop In; $50.00 for 4 week session.
What is Yin Yoga?
While Vinyasa Yoga (or other types of “yang” yoga) focuses on your muscles, yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would normally, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.
The class is 90 minutes long and to music. Please feel free to bring props: bolsters, pillows, a couple of blankets, blocks if you have them.
